Halis was the original bearer of the Ozan's gift. He would gather the one tribal people of the Kumdan Tepe coast and lead them into the heart of the desert where he would instruct them to dig three large holes in the sand that he would fill with rain. Halis would pass of natural causes surrounded by his followers who would mourn for a full season after his death.
