Tieflings

One of the few races of Terra with a fully documented history. In 2751RH the brilliant scientist Doctor Klaus Zimmer was researching a new type of power source that he believed would revolutionize his country. A researcher of the former Kingdom of Taube, Doctor Zimmer had already spent over a decade trying to perfect a generator that would harness the near limitless energy of the planet's life force. Unfortunately no device Doctor Zimmer could craft would be able to properly harness the planet's energy. In a moment of desperation he turned to commune with the gods and found his call answered. By striking a deal with an ancient god who’s name has been stricken from the record Doctor Zimmer would receive the knowledge required to finish his machine. The price he paid however was the transformation of the residents of the eastern island of his home land. Overnight the people of Ostinsel would be transformed into a race called Tieflings. Two years later Doctor Zimmer’s power plant, dubbed Reactor Ein, would become active and provide power for the whole country. Despite Zimmer’s achievements Emperor Gewalt would declare the Tieflings second class citizens and confine them to their island due to the negative public opinion of Doctor Zimmer’s actions. In 2941RH Reactor Ein would melt down and cause devastation across the kingdom. The Kingdom of Taube would find its lands devoid of life, the plants would wither and less hardy animals died instantly. At this point The Order Of The Raven would quickly seize power from the sitting Emperor and install their own government. Two years after taking power Michael Wise, the unofficial head of The Raven Order, would declare Tieflings the cause of the reactor meltdown and lead a bloody cleansing of their island. The small percentage of Tieflings who survived the cleansing would escape to various countries around the world.

Most Tieflings are aware of their infernal curse and its reported some still hear the voice of the god who made them.
