The Torchbearers

A mysterious organization that dates back to the earliest days of The Merchant Republic Of Alexander Hawk. Very little is known about this group after they vanished from the public light 2000 some years ago. What is known is that the group were experts in magical matters and helped to advise The Voyagers Table on important matters. In current times The Freebirds manged to find evidence of their existence through research done at the Alquimia Academy also discovering that Sofia De Luca was a member of the organization. Breaking into her private chambers The Freebirds discovered a portal to a secret meeting room consisting of five seats around a pentagon shaped table. Unfortunately Sofia De Luca would mysteriously die before the group could get more info out of her and the Alquimia government would pin the blame of the assassination on them. Luckily Zerrus, head of the revolutionary movement known as The Owls of Freedom, was able to provide the group with more information regarding the Torchbearers. Among this info was the confirmation that Michael Wise, current leader of The Raven Order, was among their members.
