Grote Boosen
History
Grote Boosen was founded around the Leven Tree, a large tree that stretches some 10KM into the sky. A lush forest spreads out around the Leven Tree getting sparser the further you get. Under the shadow of the Leven Tree the druids of Grote Boosen reside in peace. Nobody is really sure how long the druids have lived there but some scholars estimate about 2000 years. Out side of the Leven Forrest the non druid residents are mostly hunter gatherers who subsist off the abundant wild life that lives in the forest.
Geography
The Leven Forest takes up most of the land that is universally agreed upon as Grote Boosen. It even spills past the borders into its neighboring countries. The land becomes increasingly more difficult to traverse the closer you get to the center of the country as the sky begins to be blocked by branches and leaves and the enormous roots of the Leven Tree begin to expose themselves.
Politics
The druids of Grote Boosen do not have any type of government, they simply dedicate themselves to living like the Leven Tree. They are incredibly welcoming to anybody who enters their villages and hope to spread the Leven Tree's teachings to anybody who wants to learn.
Economy
A rare hand full of dedicated traders will venture into the Leven Forest to trade for rare trinkets and plants from the forests center which tend to fetch a high price among certain collectors.
Demographic And Culture
The forests of Grote Boosen are home to a number of beast tribes that tend to roam the three countries on the land mass that is Lluvia Pesada during different season of the year. The Druids however stay by the base of the Leven Tree year round. Non Druids tend to become Hunters and Rangers who roam the forest.
Religion
While the druids of Grote Boosen don't follow any one religion the nomadic hunters and rangers of the country believe that they owe their abundant forests to Vruchtbare Bodem. He is often depicted with healthy lands and animal wildlife. Most art depicts him on horseback; hunting in the After Fields, the Grote Boosen version of the afterlife. The After Fields are a place where game is plentiful and people spend their time enjoying the thrill of the hunt in peace.
