Growing up in the mountains of Ilyran Thalas Dawa spent most of his younger years exploring and climbing nearby mountain peaks. His parents wanted him to train to become a warrior but he had no interest in doing anything but mountaineering. As a result he frequently skipped his lessons. When he was in his late teens he set out to climb the highest peak in Ilyran Thalas with a few clan members who had also taken an interest in mountaineering. Due to severe weather and the perilous nature of the mountain a few group members died. When the rest of the group decided to tun back he kept going. Through the storm he managed to reach the peak and became the first member of his clan to reach the highest point of Halda Antaro. Later after reaching adulthood he left his clan to travel and climb the largest mountains across Terra.

Dawa would go on to found a construction company and retire from his adventuring lifestyle.
