The King in White
Status: Deceased
In another universe he was a Freebird and veteran of the Ragnarok Wars, in this one a mad god who loved his friends. The King in White was the mysterious leader of The Torchbearers who planned for two thousand years to prepare for his ascension to godhood and the moment that would ensure his own survival in his own eyes.
In a parallel timeline Pagan Bloodmoon would watch his friends die at the hands of Intelligence, one of Ozan's Angels. Afterwards Intelligence would bring The Material Plane to its knees and Pagan would take drastic measures to create a world free of Ozan. Stealing a Djinn lamp from Titania's vault Pagan would wish for immortality and a second chance. He was sent back in time 2000 years and immediately went to work. Firstly he ousted the vampire lord Ithil from his position as head of the Freebirds and banished him to The Feywilds after modifying his memory. Secondly he began to use Klaus' notes to create another Irin injector to build a resistance to Irin. While his body could physically take the toll of the Irin his mind began to deteriorate from prolonged exposure. In his later years Pagan would become increasingly more paranoid and convinced himself that he would need to manipulate events to ensure his own survival to create a closed time loop.
By the time the Freebirds fought him it was too late and Pagan fully believed that he had to send Min back to the past after killing his friends to create the same conditions that created him. Despite continued evidence proving him wrong, Pagan insisted that by still existing he must have won. Eventually The Freebirds would best Pagan and Hayalet would devour him for his Irin. Hayalet would later explain that his plan was doomed to fail from the beginning and that by traveling back in time Pagan had actually just created a separate timeline and somewhere his original timeline had likely fallen to Ozan.
